- Bellow Sealed Gate Valves
Forged steel globe valves come in three types of valve cover designs. The first type is a bolt type valve cover, which is designed according to this design form. The valve body is connected to the valve cover with bolts and nuts, and is sealed with a spiral wound gasket (made of 316 clamp flexible graphite). When customers have special requirements, metal ring connections can also be used. The second design form is a welded valve cover. According to this design form, the valve body and valve cover are connected with threads and fully welded for sealing. When customers have special requirements, fully welded connections can also be used. The third type is a pressure self tightening valve cover. Valves designed according to this design form have a threaded connection between the valve body and the valve cover, and an internal pressure self sealing ring for sealing.

Generous clearances are provided between the disc circumference and body, as well as the clapper hub and body, which prevent the possibility of binding. Internal contours are specifically designed to provide a smooth flow passage and reduce head loss through the valve. The entire clapper arm and disc assembly are easily removed through the bonnet opening while the valve is installed in the line. Clapper Arms The clapper arms are made of ductile iron. The clapper arm shaft hole and disc stud hole are bushed with bronze for wear and corrosion resistance. Clapper Arm Shafts Clapper arm shafts are made of high tensile strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
